Randall Linebacks are a critically endangered cattle breed. One of the last remaining American Landrace cattle breeds, their genetics date back to the 1600s. Our goal is to save them by creating a sustainable market for their remarkable beef.
The result of a 100% pasture-based approach, our beef boasts a deep, rich flavor that will satisfy your deepest hunger without weighing you down with the heavy intramuscular fat of industrialized breeds.
At Chapel Hill Farm, we are committed to bringing you the highest quality grass-fed beef in the world. LEARN MORE about our farm's mission to save the Randall Linebacks.

I know the people. I know their practices. I know the farm. I know the beef. Joe, Lucia, and the Randall Lineback team are some of the most passionate people I know when it comes to breeding and raising cattle. Some of the most unique and rarest cattle in the country are right here in the Shenandoah Valley: the historic Randall Lineback. They are a great story of preservation and perseverance... and pretty tasty on the plate!
When it comes to beef, I don't think anything compares to the Randall Lineback. The meat is clean, beautiful, & smells so good when it is cooking. Flavor is off the charts. My favorites are the Osso Buccos, they are so good I have dubbed them "Awesome Buccos!" Chapel Hill is doing it right, & I am glad I found them. Great people, great beef, great quality, and knowing the Randall Lineback is America's oldest cattle breed makes every bit feel like you're tasting history. Chapel Hill is preserving something truly special.
Chapel Hill Farm beef is elite, in a class of its own. Dazzling textures and profound flavor nuances on the plate make this beef ultimately unique. Randall Lineback genetics alongside lush, luxurious pasture and seasoned, astute farming practices produce a synergetic result like no other-- both in the butcher shop and in the kitchen.
